gospel experience

A three-day youth Christian conference in Lviv, where everyone can experience the gospel in action through God's presence, worship, creativity, strong Christian community, and bold evangelistic practice.

three days to inspire and equip followers of Jesus to reach a global youth culture beyond the walls of the church—through training, practical tools, and testimonies from people who live like in the book of Acts

October 9 — 11

Steiger Ukraine is part of the international missionary organization Steiger International, founded by David and Jody Pierce in Amsterdam. They are people called to reach the global youth culture — those who would never come to church on their own.

Steiger's story begins in 1983 in Amsterdam, at the height of punk rock culture. On a floating barge near Central Station, David and Jodi began holding Bible meetings for punks and anarchists. At the same time, David founded the music group No Longer Music (NLM) as a tool to reach young people with the Gospel.

Steiger began in Ukraine in 2011, when Angelika Tkachenko invited David, Jodie, and the NLM band for their first tour. After that, the first group of Ukrainian students trained at the International Missionary Center in Germany — and that's where the Ukrainian ministry began.

Today, Steiger Ukraine is a missionary movement united by heart and passion: to raise missionaries with the DNA of the book of Acts who reach the youth culture for Christ — in Ukraine and “to the ends of the earth.” We have 7 active teams in 7 cities and about 150 participants and volunteers.

Since 2011, nearly 400,000 young people have heard the Gospel through street evangelism, tours, Bible Studies for the Non-Religious (BNS), youth spaces (Places), discipleship programs, and partnerships with churches.

volunteering during the war

At the beginning of the war, we mobilized resources to:

+ evacuate people

+ feed the victims

+ preach the Gospel to military and civilians

We have seen God's miracles: protection, opened doors, changed lives. In 2025, we will focus on those projects that have borne the strongest fruit.

120,000+ people heard the Gospel.

Thanks to our humanitarian work, over 20,000 people prayed for salvation and received Bibles.

7,000 people were evacuated and physically rescued from combat zones.

We provided shelter to 10,000 to people.

We fed over 90,000 people .

We sent 3,000 Bibles in MP3 format to Ukrainian soldiers.

we mobilize followers of Jesus to reach young people who would otherwise not come to church.

our passion is

to see the movement of Jesus

on earth.

OUR MISSION / VISION
We dream of seeing a missionary movement that reaches a global youth culture for Jesus. In 2025, we want to see a generation of Ukrainian youth transformed by the power of the Gospel, and missionaries who carry Him not only within the borders of the country, but also around the world.

STEIGER AND THE CHURCH

1. Steiger is not a church, but a partner helping to achieve a global youth culture

2. Steiger does not plant churches , but serves alongside those who do.

3. We are part of the church. We strengthen and serve alongside the local church.

so how does a steiger city team do this?

– We influence the culture of the city — boldly and creatively preaching the Gospel on the streets, in institutions, and through the open spaces of Steiger Place, where we develop relationships with youth.

– We are investing in a new generation of leaders and missionaries with the DNA of the book of Acts.

We are forming a culture of students who themselves foster students.
